Wayne Rooney Street Striker Trials

I have been sent the following through work, and thought it might interest you.  You should all come along to this, you never know!

“Once again, we're on the hunt for 24 of the UK's most talented street
footballers. And you could be one of them. Make it through the trials
and you'll be filmed going toe-to-toe in a series of skill-based
challenges designed to test your control, accuracy, agility, speed and
technique.

There'll be 3 shows in the series but only 5 contestants will make it to the final, where you'll compete in a winner-takes-all battle for the
title of Coke Zero Street Striker 2009.

And it's not just kudos that's up for grabs. The winner will bag a once
in a lifetime trip to South Africa to the FIFA World Cup(tm) Finals.
Wayne's scouts are on the lookout for the nation's best raw talent right now. If you think you've got what it takes, fill out the form below and let your feet do the talking in this year's trials.”

You will need to register at:

They will then contact you back with what time you need to turn up.  The date is Thursday 30th July, Pitz PowerLeague, Liverpool (off Scotland Road) and the times of the trials are:

9am - 11 am
11 am  - 1pm
1pm- 3pm

The best lads from the trials will be chosen to go over to Cammel Laird FC and will take part in a video shoot.

Hotel Rooms

Lads

I am required to submit a list of names to the hotel in the near future.  The list has to state who will be rooming with who and I know when I went away with my teams I wanted to room with my mates… So:

I need you to email me with who you would like to room with on the tour.  I will try my best to get you rooming with who you want, but I cant promise anything.  If you don’t email me I will choose who you room with.

Tour to Derbyshire

Details of the tour have been confirmed today. They are exactly as on the letter given at presentation night.

I am yet to receive further monies for a few lads, can this be paid asap please?

Mr Holmes is now on holiday, so if you could drop it in to me at Litherland Sports Park that would be much appreciated.

Cheques should be payable to Sefton Schools FA.
