Sat 3rd December–National Cup–South Ribble v Sefton

Saturday’s game will be a completely different to the game against Hyndburn. Its the National Cup and it will be on grass on familiar territory – Preston Sports Arena, Tom Benson Way, PR2 1SG.

The game will kick off at 10:30am so if all boys could arrive for 9:30am in full school uniform we can have a thorough discussion about the game beforehand to make sure a repeat of Saturday isnt possible.

Saturday 26th Nov 2012 - NWC Hyndburn v Sefton

Boys

The game on Saturday kicks off at 10:15am away to Hyndburn in the North West Cup. We are playing on grass but if the weather is bad they want us to move to 3G, so make sure you bring mouldies/astros as well as studs please. Keepers may need to bring pants. The game is overdue by two weeks, hence the booking of the 3G.

The venue is Clitheroe Royal Grammer School, Chatburn Road, Clitheroe, BB7 2BA and we need to arrive there by 9:30am please.

Sat 22nd Oct–West Lancs v Sefton

Boys, the game this Saturday although a friendly does count towards a trophy called the Northern Merit trophy. If we play enough friendlies against participating teams we can win a trophy – but I am not focusing on that, more the friendly aspect of it.

Anyway, we play West Lancs away on Saturday (kick off 10:30am) at St Bede’s in Ormskirk. The school have a website where you can enter your postcode and it will give you directions. Click HERE to access it and get your directions.

This Saturday is the second round of the national cup and will kick off at 10am. Boys are expected to arrive between 9am and 9:15am in full school uniform. Should the score be level, extra time and penalties will follow.

The game will take place at the UCLan Sports Arean, Tom Benson Way, Preston, PR2 1SG. Google is telling me that from Switch Island if you go via the M58 and the M6 it should take around 50 minutes.
